1)脚踏车排排停

前几天,来到这个德士站等车,发现德士站的两端都有人在等德士,顿时不知道要从何排起。这不是我第一次到这个德士站,发现造成误会的是前端的这批脚踏车。

 

后来发现脚踏车旁边也竖立了这个牌子。

2)冥纸满天飞

农历七月,歌台、喊标、烧冥纸,这些都是我们不可或缺的习俗,也是我们文化的一部分。

不知道我们的清洁工人是否了解这些习俗?我想就算他们了解,他们也一定很不喜欢这个节日,因为这时候,他们的工作就加倍。

    To a large extend i can understand the aftermath of the burning of joss papers “sessions” during the hungry ghost festival as its part of the culture and tradition since our forefathers entered spore; and as for the parking of bicycles (as the previous post had mentioned the site was at compass pt), i find 2 contradicting reasons to plant the sign there. 1stly, (out of goodwill) any commuter travelling to the station via bicycles needed at least a common place for them to park their bikes . 2ndly, like u n me, we are all typical sporeans. unless a fine is imposed, people will still do it.
